Rumors going around computer-Internet community, the next GPU, which is used by Nvidia 9900 GTX and the 9900GX2.
Now GPU, nVidia just released the 9800GX2 and 9800GTX a few weeks ago. Why should they keep releasing more and more new ones? Well, that is to replace the release of the nVidia 9900-series for 9800-series. The 9900GTX will replace the 9800, will replace the 9800GX2 and 9900GX2 too. But again, why should they?
Frankly, I do not knowreally know what the hell they think. Not that sound familiar though? This is exactly what they did for 9800, has been free to replace the old 8800GTX. So why not the same thing twice? Now that is a very simple idea that Nvidia has stalled, the more time. More time for what? To develop new chip, of course!
Have you noticed that after the debut of the 8800GT's G92 chip that has already entered into development a setback? Here, a look at their GPU: the 8800GT,The G92 8800GTS, the 9600GT (G94, which is) a close sibling of the G92, the 9800GX2 (only two G92 chips together on a single card) and 9800 (also) for the G92 chip. They have the same chip for many months. In my opinion, it is time for something new, just so original, which only affect any GPU.
If you think you give enough time to get ATI on their market shares, and perhaps beat nVidia! Therefore no longer part of monopoly! Whoknows what will happen. But this is a very interesting battle.
